Shogun 2 lost capital

Nov 20, 2017 · A tip, if playing Shogun 2 unmodded, know that any allies and vassals made in-game will evetually turn on you once Realm Divide hits. Realm Divide occurs when your clan gathers to much fame for the Shogun to ignore. The Otomo Clan is a playable faction in Total War: Shogun 2. It requires the Otomo Clan Pack DLC to be played. Master Gunners Improved conversion to clan religion.
In 1338, a new family proclaimed their rule as the Ashikaga shogunate and would maintain control from the Muromachi district of Kyoto, which also served as the capital of the imperial court. The Ashikaga lost their grip on power, however, and Japan descended into the violent and lawless era known as the Sengoku or "warring states" period ... Often listed as Kyoto. The encyclopedia lists Kazusa (Satomi Clan) as a province with Iron. In game this is not the case, Kazusa has no Iron. It is currently unknown whether this is a bug or last minute balance update.

No units in Shogun 2 have shield, i think you mistake. Archers will shred spears very easy. Ashigaru spears are one of best unit in game, so you don't need replace them. Bow samurai have better stats than Ashigaru bow so if you have money, they're better choice. Cavalrys are super weak against spears but super strong against bows. Even on the campaign when I finally ended up completing Legendary I had lost all hope at one point, and would keep auto-resolving my battles to see how long I could last. It was late in the 1550s and I only had two provinces left, since I lost all eight due to fighting war on three fronts.

One thing I disliked about Shogun 2, and I haven't seen a mod for it yet, is that heirs, sons, brothers will always spawn in your predetermined capital when they come of age. This is pretty frustrating if you played as Shimazu or the Date clan and your new generals would spawn on the literal ends of the map.
